GOLF LESSON- In this video, Jared will explain that having high hands in your golf swing could be the reason you slice the ball. Don’t misunderstand, high hands is not a bad thing but most of us just lift our hands and lack in the turn aspect. This video will explain why high hands for the average golfer is a bad thing and then explain how getting your arms and hands into a deeper position can help fix your slice.

  1. My question- if you have significant shoulder tilt, your hands will go high. If your shoulders turn more level with less tilt, they go back. So- is is preferred to turn more level with less tilt to get depth? Thanks.

    1. Leonard Dzubow it depends on your setup and body type. You usually want your shoulder tilt to match your hip turn “tilt”. A steep turn can usually tell me that it’s a reverse tilt, not a turn.
