ABOUT DANNY
———————–
Thanks for stopping by. I created this website as a resource just for you to support you on your golfing journey as I know how tricky learning this game can be…to say the least!

I personally found learning the game too long and difficult in the early days. I read all the books, watched all the videos but my game was not improving. Then after studying various forms of neuro science, motor learning, psychology and personal development in less than two years I went from struggling golfer to the final stage of the Open Championship.

On YouTube and my personal website (www.dannymaude.com) I will bring you the most up to date training, training that is getting tangible results for my clients right now. I don’t know where you are in your golfing journey, you could be just starting out or maybe your body isn’t as flexible as it once was or you’ve got ambitions to slash your handicap. Wherever you are I’ve created a place here you can learn, share your ideas, ask questions and get all the support you need to enjoy this great game.

Be prepared though. If its a quick fix you are after Im not your man. Here I will give you step-by-step advice that you can take straight to the practice ground and apply to the course but it will require you to get stuck in, screw up…a lot, practice some more and then watch those scores tumble

I’ve had the pleasure of coaching thousands of students all around the world and if you are up for the challenge and are ready to get in the game…LETS GO TO WORK!

  1. I’ve been stuck for three years now with no end in sight. Going to try this tomorrow morning weather permitting. So want to enjoy golf again!

    1. +Danny Maude Took this drill and what I learned from your Perfect Backswing video to the range. Found something I haven’t experienced in years, speed at the bottom! No weak, right shots and no hooks or fat shots. Ball flight was higher as well. Ball first contact will need more work on the irons, but I’m excited for once! The driver felt like the catapult analogy you used in one of your videos. I guess being stuck has prevented me from knowing what it is like to properly rotate through impact. Hoping the snow holds off to get a few more range sessions in! Thanks for your content!

    2. I’ve been trying about everything on YouTube whenI get a chance. It started when I went to try and get a swing to become a more consistent ball striker. I was put in a swing in which my right elbow doesn’t come off my side in the backswing and I’m taking it back shut. It’s led to me having to jump or raise up at impact. Hooks, pushes, fat shots and the shanks have become the normal. Since this has been ongoing for three years I can’t shake the pattern. Is the problem starting at the beginning of the swing? Any drills or advice would be most welcome. Great content in your videos. Keep up the good work and greetings from Iowa!

    3. Hi Judge, love to hear what you’ve been trying up to date and whats getting in the way of you enjoying the game???

  2. Excellent exercise! Have been to driving range and, after struggling initially, made great, straight contact with ball. After a dozen or so, I slid the right hand into position, and had the same result. Will use this as part of my warm-up routine for the future. Many thanks.

  3. Great video and excellent explanation. Like Freddy Tjhang, would love to see it done with a driver.
I certainly would have lesson with you but I live in Australia. Thankyou you so much for sharing your skills
