  1. I love the greens at the masters Green jackets are won and lost on the greens so many putts lipping out or a downhill putt going long and ending up off the green and putting 90 degrees away from the hole to get the ball rolling down the hill to the hole. What other tournament could they have the green speed of the masters without everyone saying oh they are to hard or too fast only at the masters is that not only acceptable but expected. I love how the course is closed for months in preparation for the Masters. Im actually shocked that they had a women’s amateur tournament there before the masters and not after. I would watch the womens masters there but they need to make the course just as hard for them as it is to the men its not a course you should be able to shoot 10 under everyday, making par is an achievement!

  2. Brian I agree with you here. So many traditions associated with it, Green Jacket, Champions Dinner, Drive Chip & Putt, Par 3 competition, honorary opening Tee shots, Pimento Sandwich, Plastic Cup Fair prices ,April Bloom 🌺 Azaleas etc. etc. 86 Jacks last one, 87 Larry Mize chipping in sudden death to take it from the Shark, Tigers dramatic Chip in, Tiger coming out in 97 and winning by 12 into the arms of his father. Recently full circle , Tiger into the arms of his son. The advantage I think this Major has over the other three is that it’s going to be very consistent. The weather, playing conditions, the track etc. …aside from the rain sometimes. The cool part is coming into Amen Corner in the final day it normally always comes down to the wire and that makes for the dramatics.
