Favourite to win is Rory McIlroy – fresh from winning the FedEx Cup Championship, the Irishman is enjoying one of the best ball-striking spells of his career. Also competing is Matthew Fitzpatrick, two time consecutive winner of the Omega European Masters. No player has ever claimed three successive Omega European Masters titles – can he become the first?

Welcome to the Official YouTube channel of the European Tour. Every week you can find extended tournament highlights and individual player highlights from the likes of Rory McIlroy, Justin Rose and Tommy Fleetwood in events on the Race to Dubai. 1. We’re sorry 😔

Due to some technical issues we weren’t able to include some of Rory’s holes today. We hope you enjoy anyway!

  2. Ken Brown “that’s some whack with a three wood”; please explain Ken that this golf course is located at altitude and the ball travels at least 10-15% further, even my three wood goes further at altitude. Can we also see the approach shots to the green and not just putting highlights. Thanks

  3. 7:00 is the perfect example why Europe has had such a strong Ryder Cup Team the past years. “Matt…. Fitz…” as he realizes that Matt is probably not enough for other people to know who he’s talking about, plus he acknowledges what other players are doing better/different than him and tries to learn from it. They all seem to be somewhat of a family and that’s what is severely lacking in the US Team I feel…
