Sergio Garcia began his defence of the Andalucía Valderrama Masters with an opening 68 in southern Spain. Watch extended highlights of his round.


Major winner Sergio Garcia returns to the Andalucía Valderrama Masters hosted by the Sergio Garcia Foundation to defend his title, as the tournament is once again held at Real Club Valderrama in Spain. Local favourites Adrián Otaegui, Pedro Oriol and Scott Fernández, who have all won on the European Tour this season join Sergio Garcia in Valderrama.

  1. Did anybody find it a little odd how he got a free drop on the 17th when he hit the ball way left up against a rock wall, yet instead of having to play out of the rough he was allowed to drop the ball on the 18th tee box?

      Ha Ha it’s not funny. Men wearing lipstick competing in pro tennis and men on meds competing in pro golf. But, yeah. it is kind of funny.

    2. +Phil Douglas agreed s. williams should be in the men’s division haha, just not sure why when you it a rubbish shot in golf you should be rewarded, I’m not Sergio garcia though

      No. While there are odd things happening in professional golf such as players using Rx drugs to enhance their game, there are more incredible things going on in the world of sports. Things like men wearing lipstick competing in pro tennis. (Serena Williams)
